You are Loved

Nothing changes God's love for His children.

What is Agape Love?
How does this kind of love express itself?

The Apostle Paul gives us an excellent description in
1 Corinthians 13:13

Love is very patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud, never haughty or selfish or rude. Love does not demand its own way. It is not irritable or touchy. It does not hold grudges and will hardly even notice when others do it wrong.

It is never glad about injustice, but rejoices whenever truth wins out. If you love someone you will be loyal to him no matter what the cost. You will always believe in him, always expect the best of him, and always stand your ground in defending him.

All the special gifts and powers from God will someday come to an end, but love goes on forever...

There are three things that remain -- faith, hope, and love -- and the greatest of these is love.

God Loves us Unconditionally!

God loves with Agape, This love is described in 1 Corinthians 13.

He loves you and I so much that He sent His Son to die on the cross for us, that we might have everlasting life. His love is not based on performance. Christ loves you and I so much that while we were yet a sinner, He died for us.

God's love for you and I is unconditional and undeserved. He loves us in spite of our disobedience, our weaknesses, our sins and our selfishness. He loves you and I, enough to provide a way to an abundant, eternal life. He loved us enough to make the way to Heaven easy. From the Cross Christ cried out, "Father, forgive them for they know not what they are doing." If God loved those who are sinners that much, can you imagine how much He loves us?

The love that God has for you and I is far beyond our human comprehension. Jesus prayed, "My prayer for all of them (the disciples and believers of all ages) is that they will be of one heart and mind, just as you and I are, Father...I in them and you in me, all being perfected into one -- so that the world will know you sent me and will understand that you love them as much as you love me."

Think of it! God loves us as much as He loves His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus. What a staggering, overwhelming truth to comprehend! We need to have no fear of someone who loves us perfectly. You and I need never be reluctant to trust God with our entire life for He truly loves us. And the almost unbelievable part of it is that He loves us even when we are disobedient.

Nothing Can Separate you from the Love of Christ Jesus.

The Apostle Paul wrote in Romans 8:35-39
(The Living Bible)

Who then can ever keep Christ's love from us? When we have trouble or calamity, when we are hunted down or destroyed, is it because He doesn't love us anymore? And if we are hungry, or penniless, or in danger, or threatened with death, has God deserted us? No, for the Scriptures tell us that for his sake we must be ready to face death at every moment of the day -- we are like sheep awaiting slaughter; but despite all this overwhelming victory is ours though Christ who loved us enough to die for us.

For I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can't, and life can't. The angels won't, and all the powers of hell itself cannot keep Gods' love away. Our fears for today, or worries about tomorrow or where we are -- high above the sky, or in the deepest ocean -- nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ when He died for us.

Such love is beyond our ability to grasp with our minds, but it is not beyond our ability to experience with our hearts.

With that being said:
The least we can do is give him a chance.
I guarantee you will never regret that choice.
I dare you to try my Jesus!

Always Remember that: YOU ARE LOVED!

"Such love is beyond our ability to grasp with our minds, but it is not beyond our ability to experience with our hearts." What an awesome statement, Karen. It is so true. Makes my heart just want to reach out and grab Him, just 'cause I can, and hug him til I can't hug Him any more! Great post! Keep up the good work :)
